This presentation by Captain Geoff Rudolph will describe the 6000 nm sailing voyage from St. Francis, East Cape South Africa to Grenada, West Indies in 2018. He has operated a variety of both sailing and power vessels between the Great Lakes, West Indies and Caribbean basin for over 40 years. This story will describe the preparation and sea trials required of a newly built St. Francis 50 catamaran, the rounding of the Cape of Good Hope and subsequent 3 legs to the West Indies. There will be a slide show to highlight some of the geography and conditions while this journey is shared.
